From the first inquiry phone call parents make to Hanahau`oli, the admissions office strives to help parents understand the school and its approach to educating young children.
Application Process and Timeline
| June 1-Sept. 30 | Please fill out the inquiry form to get on the mailing list for application packets. |
| October 1 | Applications become available for new students entering Junior Kindergarten. (See eligibility dates). Applications are also accepted for grades 1-6 on space available basis. |
| October - November | On Wednesday mornings parents are invited to attend a docent tour of the school campus and meet with the admissions director. The tour takes about an hour. |
| December 1 |

| January - February | Interviews for Junior Kindergarten and Grades 1-6 are held on several Saturday mornings in January and Febraury. The interview takes about an hour and a half and there is an informational meeting for parents during the child’s interview. |
| April 15 | If all documents and the application fee are received by the deadline a decision letter will be mailed in mid April. The common reply date for all HAIS schools is May 10th. |
